There is lots to see and do while you are in St Leonards and Hastings, so why not make a day of it? Or how about staying over in one of the nearby boutique guest houses and spend the weekend exploring the area? So, we though we would include links to some of the nearby galleries, independent shops, guest houses and other local attractions...oh yes, and there is the beach too!

Norman Road - as featured in a number of national broadsheet newspapers recently and famous for antique, retro, collectors and interiors shops including McCarrons of Mercatoria and Bombarock.
Kings Road - linking St Leonards Warrior Square station with the seafront, this road has recently seen some major regeneration works and is home to everything from designer jewelers and organic food outlets to bric-a-brac and second hand collectors stores.
On Grand Parade along the seafront you will find the Plenty Provisions store.

Under Marine Court you will find a number of local galleries to visit, including the Hastings Arts Forum, Burton Gallery, and Vanessa Fowler Ceramic there are more to find in nearby Norman Road and Mercatoria too.

Just behind Marine Court and the Royal Victoria Hotel lie the recently restored St Leonards Gardens, heart of the original Decimus Burton St Leonards development and once again offering a tranquil green open space. Also be sure to visit nearby Warrior Square, a fine example of a late-Victorian residential square and gardens, with a terrace rose garden to the rear.

There are now two boutique guest houses in the heart of Central St Leonards - Hastings House on Warrior Square, recently awarded 5 Star Gold standard by English Tourism, and Zanzibar Hotel on Eversfield Place.
